The dad and daughter team, who stopped to shop around, were seen out and about around the city yesterday, celebrating St. Partick’s Day with good friend and rumored new flame of Ashley’s, Jared Followill.

Fresh off of announcing her split from Joe Jonas, the “Twilight” actress joined her dad and the Kings of Leon bassist in visiting a local bar for some together time.

And while it appears that they may indeed be a new item, insiders dismiss that the new romance was the cause of Ashley’s split from Joe.

A source told E!, “Ashley didn’t leave Joe for [Jared]. They just both agreed it was time to focus on themselves.”

As for Greene’s parting from Jonas, the E! insider said, “They were apart a lot working. It was never that serious. It was a fun, five-month relationship.”

I already see people on Twitter and other website’s judge Ashley because she is seen with a “new man” so soon. First of all, Jared (Followill, Bassist of Kings of Leon) and Ashley go way back to 2009. They briefly dated back then (At least, that is what the rumors said), but remained friends. If she is just out with a friend, there is no big deal.

Second of all, even if they are dating. Who cares? She is a grown women and is capable of her own decisions. If the reports are right and Ashley and Joe broke it off WEEKS AGO, than she is allowed to do whatever she wants. Joe has a lot more exes on his name than Ashley and nobody is judging him. ;D

And if you ask me, Jared is so much hotter than Joe. :) Haha!

While news of Joe and Ashley going their separate ways just broke Thursday, there’s not much distance between them as they’re kicking it in the same city. Both are in NYC, but it seems they had separate agendas. The 24-year-old was spotted hailing a cab with the most important man in a girl’s life — her dad — while Joe was hanging with his bodyguard.

Ashley and her dad were gearing up for some quality time as they were headed out to see the St. Patrick’s Day parade, although neither were wearing green!

So sad, if you ask me. I thought they were really cute and adorable together. I really thought that Ashley had “tamed” Joe, because let us be serious - not to talk bad about him or anything - Joe has quite the dating reputation. I already had the feeling that they broke up actually. They were both in NYC, but didn’t get together once and when Winston (Joe’s Dog) got hurt - Ashley tweeted about it and when Marlo (Ashley’s Dog) got hurt, Joe didn’t tweet anything. I don’t know, I kind of already thought they had broken up.

She visited the city to promote her upcoming movie Skateland and did an interview at SiriusXM Radio. She looked extremely gorgeous, that is all I can say. At first I didn’t know what to think about her hair (when I first saw it at her Bithday Bash), but I’m really starting to like it.

Breaking Dawn has been put to a stop because of the weather (and in some reports, also because of the earthquake/tsunami in Japan) so I wonder for how long she will stay in LA!

Also, the situation in Japan really worried me. I find it so extremely sad, mostly because my step-father is from Japan, so it is close to our hearts. We should really try to pray for this country and hope that everything will turn out for the best.
