Ashley Greene surprised a ton of fans at Hot Topic store in Los Angeles for one of the many Twilight DVD midnight parties over the weekend.

The 22-year-old actress dished to MTV about how the fans have everything to do with Twilight’s staying power. She shared, “We’ve got staying power. We’re here and they [the fans] saw it, and they were excited. They saw it again and they’re buying the DVD and pre-ordered it and stood in line. It’s a really encouraging factor going into the second film.”

Ashley Greene caught up with Seventeen mag at the DonateMyDress.org event in New York City over the weekend.

The 22-year-old Twilight actress shared her prom tips with the mag. Check out her advice below:

– Exfoliate the night before and always put on lotion.
– If you Jimmy Choo’s in particular, they’re not comfortable. If you go to Rite Aid or Walgreens, get this band-aid blister block so you can put that on your shoes. It saves your life, everytime.
– Don’t put on so much makeup that it doesn’t look like you. Make sure you make your features stand out a little more. Accentuate what you have.

Actress Ashley Greene doesn’t have to use the intuitive powers of her Twilight character, Alice Cullen, to know fans will love Taylor Lautner’s shirtless scenes in the upcoming sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

“He looks like he’s in 300!” Ashley tells In Touch of the 17-year-old, who packed on nearly 30 pounds of muscle to play Jacob Black again.

“I was in the makeup trailer and I looked over as he was taking his shirt off and said to him, ‘You’ve got to be joking!’” Ashley recalls. “He looks fantastic. The girls are going to be satisfied, let me tell you!”

Ashley’s also doing her part to make girls’ dreams come true: She’s a spokesperson for donatemydress.org, a charity where teens can donate a gently used prom dress for a girl in need to a Saks Fifth Avenue store through March 31 and in return receive a store discount.

Ashley Greene tried on a slew of dresses at the Paul and Joe Sister Showroom in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (March 5).

The 22-year-old starlet caught up with In Style magazine at the fitting and gushed at all the dresses. Ashley shared, “There are a couple things here that I’d love to bring into Alice’s [Cullen] wardrobe. I read the [New Moon] script and there’s definitely a lot of action in it! I’ll have the yellow Porsche to drive. I was going to ask if I could keep it, but I don’t think it’s going to work out.”

On the book series of Twilight: “Especially with women, I think it kind of hits every age range. It kind of lets you go where you want to go with it.”

On DonateMyDress.org: “It’s a charity organization and the first national dress drive. We have about 50 local organizations working with us now to help distribute the dresses to the girls. [The girls] really can’t afford them and it’s just with the economy, it’s really hard on a lot of people. We ask girls to donate their dresses that they’re never going to use again. It’s a prom dress.”

On getting started on New Moon: “Production started today. I go in on April 5th. Dakota [Fanning] is like a little 30-year-old. It’s impressive, she’s so grown up. She’s got more under her belt than any of the cast, so I’m really excited she’s doing it.”
